Author correction to: Zhang, X.A., Kazarov, A.R., Yang, X., Bontrager, A.L., Stipp, C.S., and Hemler M.E., "Function of the Tetraspanin CD151-a6b1 Integrin Complex during Cellular Morphogenesis," Mol. Biol. Cell. [2002] 13, 1-11.

Overlapping portions of the same image were used for the top two panels in Figure 3, as the result of an inadvertent mix-up during figure preparation. The authors wish to emphasize that this mix-up does not alter any of the conclusions of the manuscript. Wild type CD151 and the n-A15 mutant form of CD151 consistently behave similarly with respect to cellular cable formation. These results have been obtained several times, by different investigators in the laboratory.
