MBC Videos

This article contains the following material:

All videos are representative DIC time-lapse movies of anaphase during the first cell division in wild-type (Video 1), tbb-1(RNAi) (Video 2), tbb-2 deletion (Video 3), tba-1(RNAi) (Video 4), and tba-2(RNAi) (Video 5) embryos. In the wild-type (Video 1) and tbb-1(RNAi) (Video 2) embryos, the anterior centrosome remains fixed in position while the posterior centrosome oscillates up and down. In the tbb-2 deletion embryo (Video 3), the anterior centrosome does not remain fixed in position, the posterior centrosome movements are more extensive, and there is a lost of periodicity in the spindle oscillations. The centrosome movements in tba-1(RNAi) (Video 4) and tba-2(RNAi) (Video 5) are similar with more movement apparent in both anterior and posterior centrosomes compared to wild-type centrosomes.
