Strains of stated genotype were crossed and meiotic progression followed using DIC/Nomarski to show location of ascus and NLS-GFP to show nucleus. NLS-GFP is shown in green and DIC/Normarski is in red. Images collected are flat projections of serial Z-sections collected every 5 min. Playback rate is 10 frames/sec.
