Molecular Biology of the Cell: E03-08-0605

This article has the following additional materials available:

Supplemental Figures (PDF)

  • Supplemental Figure 1 Structure of the mtm-6 gene and predicted proteins. The upper panel shows position of the exons (boxes) and introns (lines). The bottom panel shows the genomic DNA sequence on top and the predicted protein below it. The SLn trans-splice positions for mtm-6A and mtm-6B mRNAs are indicated. The polyA addition sites are marked with arrowheads. The DNA sequence changes in the mtm-6(ar513) and mtm-6(ar515) alleles are shown above the sequence and the deleted nucleotides in mtm-6(ok330) are underlined. The different domains of the MTM-6 proteins are indicated.
  • Supplemental Figure 2 Structure of the mtm-9 gene and predicted protein. The upper panel shows position of the exons (boxes) and introns (lines). The bottom panel shows the genomic DNA sequence on top and the predicted protein below it. The SL1 trans-splice position for the mRNA is indicated. The polyA addition sites are marked with arrowheads. The DNA sequence change in mtm-9(ar479) is shown above the sequence. The different domains of the MTM-9 protein are indicated, although key residues required for phosphatase activity are missing.
