  Overexpression of EHD1 does not affect the morphology of endocytic compartments containing transferrin receptor. HeLa cells on cover-glasses were transiently transfected with GFP-EHD1, and 24 h later fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde. Immunostaining was done using mouse anti-transferrin receptor antibodies followed by a secondary goat anti-mouse Cy3 antibody. Images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM 5 confocal micrscope.
