Molecular Biology of the Cell: E03-11-0837

This article contains the following additional material:

Supplemental Figures (PDF)

  • Supp Figure 1 Quantification of spindle intensity Intensities of anaphase spindles (36˚C) are measured in wild type and alp7 mutant cells using image J (NIH). Brightness of spindles along the axial length and width is plotted. Raw data of spindle brightness in wild type and alp7 mutant cells are shown.
  • Supp Figure 2 The percentage of cells displaying condensed chromosomes in a strain containing Alp7-GFP Strains grown at 26˚C were fixed and strains with DAPI. The percentage of cells containing condensed chromosomes was counted.
  • Supp Figure 3 Production of anti-Alp14 peptide antibody Peptide (MSQDQEEDYSKLPLESR) corresponding the N-terminal region of Alp14 was used to immunise rabbit. Serum was affinity purified and used for immunoblotting. Extracts (30 μg/lane) used are from wild type (lane 1), alp14-deletion (lane 2) and wild type cells containing multicopy plasmids carrying the alp14 + gene (lane 3).
  • Supp Figure 4 Homology between Alp7 and TACC members Amino acid sequence of the C-terminal coiled-coil region of Alp7 and the corresponding "TACC" domain in the TACC/TAC-1 members is compared. Conserved amino acid resides are shown on the bottom row.
