Both PC5 and EL are expressed in mouse liver sinusoids. Serial frozen sections of mouse liver were stained with specific antibodies to either PC5 (Ab:mPC5) or EL [rabbit polyclonal, (Jaye et al., 1999) ] and FITC-conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgGs (Sigma). The staining revealed that both proteins line the surface of liver sinusoids, suggesting co-localization (see arrows). The sinusoidal space is represented by S. Bar = 10 μM.
