In early prophase CNA1p is predominantly at the centromeres but at later stages of meiosis moves to the meiotic spindle. (A) During the egg stage of early prophase centromeres are clustered at the apical end of the micronucleus. (B) In anaphase I CNA1p is concentrated along the spindle between the segregating chromatin. (C,D) CNA1p can also be seen along the meiotic spindle during telophase I and II.
