• Supplementary Figure 1 - Clearance of membrane markers at the phagocytic cup is not due to insertion of early endosomal, lysosomal or endoplasmic reticulum membrane. RAW cells were transfected with GFP-Rab5 (A), EEA1-GFP (B), GFP-Sec61 (D) and allowed to engulf 8 μm beads. Alternatively, RAW cells were immunostained for LAMP1 after phagocytosis of beads (C).
