rad51, rad54 and/or shu1 mutations cause impaired S-phase progression following MMS-exposure
sgs1, rad51sgs1, rad54sgs1, shu1, shu1sgs1, rad51shu1sgs1 and rad54shu1sgs1 mutants were released from G1-arrest into fresh medium containing 0.033% MMS for 3 hours. DNA content was analyzed by flow cytometry at the indicated times. The shaded peaks represent experimental data, whereas the unshaded peak is a reference to indicate a normal G2/M peak (at 2 hours release from G1-arrest). The positions of the 1n (G1) and 2n (G2/M) peaks are indicated below.
