Scope

The issue will aim to capture both experimental and theoretical approaches to understanding the form and function of condensates. The issue provides an opportunity to authors to share their work with a broad and interdisciplinary audience.

Research Topics

Submissions are welcomed in a variety of areas including:

  • Functional roles of condensates in cell processes
  • Condensates in environmental sensing and stress responses
  • Biophysics of condensate assembly
  • Engineering of synthetic condensates
  • Condensates in immunity and infection
  • Protein and nuclei acid sequence-encoded properties
  • New tools for biophysical analysis
  • Computational approaches for modeling and simulations

How do you believe MBoC can benefit researchers?

"--------------

MBoC welcomes interdisciplinary work that addresses fundamental cell biology, offers a thoughtful review process, and provides space for discussion about our scientific culture.
